Water Consumption
CPC 408.2 Single showerheads shall have a maximum flow rate of 1.8 gallons/minute measured at
80 psi per CalGreen 4.303.1.3.1. Multiple showerheads and outlets controlled by a
single valve shall also have a maximum flow rate of 1.8 gallons/minute measured at 80
psi per CalGreen 4.303.1.3.2.
Control Valves
CPC 408.3 Control valves shall be either a pressure balance, thermostatic, or combination mixing
valve type that provides scald protection (120 degrees Fahrenheit maximum) for the
rated flow of the installed showerhead; and shall be installed at the point of use
